Abstract - Using ‘Theory of Change’ evaluation in learning and teaching development

CILASS, a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at the University of Sheffield, has developed an innovative, participatory approach to evaluating the impact of its development projects and other activities, based on ‘Theory of Change’ methodology and the use of process-focused as well as outcome-focused performance indicators. This session will present the approach and highlight ways in which it might be transferred to other types of change initiative in educational and library contexts.
