Paul Stringer

Photo of Paul Stringer

Biography - Paul works in technical support for a small e-commerce company in Manchester and spends most of his time out of work staring at a computer screen - either recording music/podcasts or getting up to speed with the
latest technology web 2.0 has to offer and trying to work out how he can use it to further his plans for world domination. He had never had anything to do with libraries until a drunken conversation with Ian about the possibilities for mp3s in libraries led to him agreeing to
share his geeky knowledge with the library community.

Abstract - i-pod he-pods they-pod but do u-pod?

Rapid change is overtaking the audio industry.  As cassettes and CDs are set to disappear, how can we provide for the talking book market?  Ian and Paul present an overview and some predictions.
