Biography
- is the Copyright and Digital
Resources Officer at Brunel University. Monique started at Brunel
in 2005 and brought with her a background in academic library work
from her previous post at London Metropolitan University. Although
she is based in the library, her role is university-wide, providing
centralised support and training on copyright issues to all
Schools, departments and students. All copyright matters fall
under Monique's umbrella, but the role's primary focus is on
the e-learning environment.

at Brunel University
A
case study of setting up a copyright consultancy service at Brunel
University, offering University-wide support and guidance to academic
staff and students in relation to teaching and learning.
It
will look at the methods by which copyright issues are marketed
to staff and students at Brunel, looking at the importance of fostering
good links with academics, Schools, librarians and even central
service departments in order to create a culture where staff and
students are clued up about how copyright content should be managed
in the teaching and learning environment.
