Abstract
- Digital Outreach and Social Engagement: Connecting With
Users
How do we
attract and keep the attention of users in our overly information-saturated
world? How do we convince them of the utility and relevance
of what we have to offer? Digital outreach and social engagement
initiatives offer exciting opportunities for relevant programming
that attracts interest. Hear the theories behind outreach
and engagement, explore examples from practice, and participate
in a collaborative exploration of characteristics of best practices
in outreach and engagement.
