Abstract
- Distance education – national and international perspectives
from UK providers
For
many in the library workforce anxious to qualify full-time study
is out of the question. Neither is attendance at part-time classes
possible unless one lives within reach of a provider. Distance education
has opened up new opportunities. This session will look at the national
and international impact of distance education from the perspective
of three UK departments active in the field.
