Biography - Audrey Marshall is a Senior Lecturer in Information and Media Studies and a Research Fellow with the Social Informatics Research Unit (SIRU) at the University of Brighton. She has worked in a range of library sectors and started working at the University of Brighton in 2001, where she has been involved in several research projects exploring the role of ICTs in health information provision.

Abstract - "A whole new world": the Informing Health project

This project explored how local health information providers, including the NHS Trust and public library services, could work with members of local communities to support health information needs. The project demonstrated both the possibilities and difficulties of partnership working and of engaging with local residents in online health information provision.
